Meet The Challah King – Chris Brugler. Calling yourself the king of anything is a mighty strong statement, I thought when I first heard about this company. I tend to be naturally skeptical. I was pleased to see that Chris had a phone number posted on his website, so I called him. I learned that Chris refined his culinary craft under the watchful eye of the Master Chefs Paul Bocuse and Joel Antunes at The Ritz-Carlton Buckhead in Atlanta, a Five-Star/Five-Diamond restaurant. That impressed me – I have a great admiration for the Ritz-Carlton brand, which consistently excels at exceeding its guests expectations. Also, I believe in moments of inspiration and loved Chris’ story about how he was first inspired by four children to add the unexpected ingredients into his traditional challah.
