While visiting the east coast recently we had the chance to see our friends at Wyebrook Farm.
At Wyebrook Farm, they provide an alternative to the industrial food supply. By creating a diverse polyculture on the farm, they produce the healthiest animals and best food without the use of artificial fertilizers, pesticides, herbicides, hormones or antibiotics.
They believe that the only way to guarantee that the food you eat is healthy, safe and nutritious is to know the farmer who produced it.
They sell the products of the farm from a historic barn on the farm so that their customers can see the animals and their farming practices.
The land has been continuously farmed for more than 200 years. There are stone walls on the property built by workers from the Isabella Furnace in the 19th Century.
Later in the day we had a chance to meet with the Team at Wyebrook Farm
Picked out our favorite cut of steak for lunch…
